Applications are being accepted for existing vacancies and to establish a
pool of qualified candidates for positions with Indian Health Council, Inc.
(IHC). Applications will be accepted by the Human Resources Department at
any time and will be retained for a period not to exceed (1) calendar year
from date of receipt. Appropriate testing for skill requirements may be
given. In addition, you are required to submit a copy of your Driver’s
License along with your application for employment, if needed.
Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian applicants in
accordance with the Indian Preference Act (Title 2 U.S. Code, Section 472
and 473) and the Indian Self Determination Act, Public Law 93-638, provided
the applicant has submitted acceptable proof of Indian preference for
employment. Which is to accompany the application if you are claiming Indian

NOTICE OF DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE ACT REQUIREMENTS:
IHC has adopted a Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy, in part, to
satisfy its obligations under the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988. It is
unlawful for any employee to manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or
use a controlled substance in the workplace. In addition, IHC must be
notified within five (5) calendar days of any criminal drug statute
conviction for a violation occurring in the workplace. Employees who are
suspected of violating IHC's Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Policy may be
required to submit to an inspection of their person, vehicle or personal
property. This may include medical testing for alcohol and/or drug use.
