A Vision For the Future of IHC
Since 1970 Indian Health Council has brought Dental, Medical, and Behavioral Health Services to the 9-Consortium Tribes of North County San Diego. Now 55 years in operation IHC is asking the Tribal Communities it serves to join us in selecting the new Vision Statement that will guide IHC's efforts for the next 50 years.

This is your chance to participate in a truly historic moment, one that will help shape the quality of life amongst the Tribes for generations to come. Indian Health Council is the "people's clinic" and the vision for what this health center is meant to accomplish must truly be a vision of, for, and by the people it serves.

IHC's Native Staff have spent the last year, in conjunction with efforts of our Integrated Care Committee, Executive Committee and the IHC Board of Directors in shaping a set of new potential Vision Statements. It's these 10 new Vision Statements that our Native Staff have created that we are asking the Tribal Communities we serve to vote on.

Between August 12 - September 12 polls are open online, and in the IHC Rincon Health Center in the Medical, Dental and BH lobbies, as well as in our Santa Ysabel Health Center lobby. Look for the banners and IHC staff members with ballots and ballot boxes in the lobbies and also at community events throughout the month.
