The Dental Department strives to deliver an extensive range of quality services in an efficient, friendly manner. We provide both general and specialty services and continuously aim to meet the oral health needs of the community we serve.
Our general dentistry providers offer a wide variety of services to help our patients achieve optimal oral health and esthetics. Many general services are available, including exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, dentures, and more. Our patients are provided comprehensive dental care and are seen by our four general providers, Dr. Caroline Lambert, Dr. Chance Bodini, Dr. Briana Ovbude and Dr. Sandra Primosch. Appointments are available with a general provider Monday through Friday.
Assistant w/ Extended Functions II
The additional RDAEFII license allows the dental assistant to place restorations, take final impressions of crowns and partials, and deliver crowns and nightguards under the supervision of a dentist. Providing this service helps with wait time in the chair as well as available appointments.
Just for Kids
First-time patients are introduced to the dentist's office in a positive, non-intimidating way.
We have a pedodontist 2 days a week that specializes in children’s dental care with an emphasis on oral health education and prevention. Anesthesia services are also available in conjunction with the on-site pedodontist.
The pediatric program here at IHC is extremely successful and is coordinated by our pediatric dentist, Dr. Marian Manson. The program provides educational, preventive, and comprehensive care to children, combined with various means of behavioral management for those in need. One of the goals of the pediatric department is to have every child's first dental visit occur by their first birthday. Bring your children in for a dental exam and have them become members of our “No Cavities Club”!
Deep sedation with dental anesthesiologist, Dr. Tyler Johnson, is provided once every month. This program has given opportunities to young children with severe dental anxiety and extensive needs to achieve successful dental treatment.
Our orthodontic program was initiated in 1979 by Dr. Guy Baker and the legacy continues with his son, Dr. Brad Baker. Patients who strive for the perfect smile are screened for orthodontic needs. Children with the greatest need for treatment have the highest priority for entrance into the program. Patients must meet an eligibility requirement of less than 16 years of age. Dr. Baker is here four days a month.
In 2012, Dr. Greg Hein joined IHC’s dental team providing multiple endodontic services to all who need them. Dr. Hein is available on select days of the month, and only by referral from a general dentist.
The Dental Department offers specialized hygiene care for all patients. Our hygienists provide preventive and educational care to all patients to help ensure optimal periodontal health. Our four hygienists, Brynne, Jennifer, Julie and Natalia, are available Monday through Friday by appointment.
Hygienist in Alternative Practice
The additional RDHAP license allows the hygienist to provide dental hygiene services remotely for underserved populations. Promoting this service increases access to care in addition to improving outcomes in oral and general health.
AAAHC Certified Dental Home
Patient-centered Dental Home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects in oral health care that is delivered in a complete, accessible, organized, and family-centered way. It helps guide oral care decisions as it is respective and responsive to each individual patient preferences, needs, and values. The IHC Dental Department achieved AAAHC Dental Home certification in 2018.
