Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This month, we come together to honor survivors, remember those who we have lost, and stand alongside individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer awareness goes beyond physical health. A diagnosis can bring emotional challenges, uncertainty, and stress. Through early detection, education, and community support, we can empower one another and promote healing in both mind and body. Strength grows through connection, and no one should have to face their journey alone.
We recognize the importance of caring for our whole selves—mind, body, and spirit. If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenges, call, text, or chat 988 for free and confidential support 24/7, or call 760-749-1410 Option 1 to connect with Indian Health Council's Behavioral Medical Department (Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 6:30PM).
