With a heavy heart, the current REZolution team says goodbye after three great years at Indian Health Council working with Native youth of the consortium tribes. After close to 10 years of the  REZolution project, the grant will end on June 30th. The past month has been spent winding things down, including updating inventory, tying up loose ends, and celebrating all the great work that’s been done. The REZolution team this past year has pushed out 85 different social media posts with a total of 2,150 likes ranging from journal prompts, honoring Native voices, and event flyers.

A few other accomplishments to highlight this past year were the different events that REZolution planned, completed and collaborated on. A few of these events were: The Halloween Extravaganza, Art and Bingo Night, Broken Bowl Workshops, Games and Art Day, and the Indigenous Stories Film Festival and Art Walk.  These last few events involved many members of the community and truly helped further our relationships with everyone from ages 6 to 76. Another amazing highlight to add is that ART is at the core of our connections and despite age, we encouraged everyone to make art! Be creative and innovative, it’s alright to be messy, be unapologetically yourself because REZolution has space for you. With interest from REZolution youth, we also completed a cookbook for the community with a series of traditional foods that can be made at home; the cookbooks will be shared at some upcoming events.

We thank you for your support and an incredible few years together. It’s not a goodbye but a see you later, and we hope to still see so many familiar faces in our future endeavors.
